We regret to inform you that we must cancel our 9.11 mile Memorial Swim on September 9, 2017 because we were informed by the NJ State Police that our fees would go to approximately $2,800 making the event cost prohibitive. They felt the event required additional resources after last year’s event to keep swimmers safe. We are a volunteer run event with the goal of raising money for our selected charities. Therefore, we are not in a position to absorb these fees and we don’t feel it is fair to pass them on to the swimmers. We will continue with our 2 mile, 1 mile and .5 mile swims on Sunday, September 10, 2017. We will refund all registration fees to swimmers currently registered in the 9.11 mile swim.
