The LHOWSF on September 8, 2019 is officially moved to Lake Mohawk Country Club Beach. We thank our neighbors for this opportunity providing our swimmers with swimming water not under advisory. We took a vote of registered swimmers and moving the venue to Lake Mohawk was clearly supported.

There is plenty of parking across from the Country Club. The GPS address is 21 The Boardwalk Sparta, New Jersey 07871. The beach area is on the right side of the country club as you face the water. There will be an in water start and a beach finish.

The new safety plan includes 12 lifeguards on boards/kayaks on the course and 3 marine patrol boats monitoring for traffic.

We are blessed to have this opportunity to swim an alternate course. Please be very respectful of their beach and leave no garbage behind. The Country Club will not be open during our early hours but a porta potty is available.

The Dine and Donate is still planned at The Windlass and we hope you go to enjoy a meal and support our sponsor as well as our charities. The address for The Windlass is 45 Nolan’s Point Park Rd, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

We’ll still have plenty of bagels and muffins at the swim venue along with hot beverages. Please enjoy them and invite your guests to do so as well. We look forward to seeing you on September 8th!
